Data provided directly by the user: This is general data depending on the type of profile. In the case of Parents or guardians, Educational Center Administrators and Teaching Staff, the app collects data such as name, surname, Sex (optional), email, Mobile phone, password, Identity number (Certificate or Passport), Photo identity number (optional) and profile photo (optional).
The exclusive profile for parents or guardians collects additional data such as information on one or more direct dependents (children): First Name, Last Name, Sex (optional), Date of Birth and Profile Photo (optional). Name NN Gender (optional) Profile photo (optional).
The exclusive profile for educational centers or administrators collects additional data related to Geographic location, National registration number (RNC or ID), List of courses and List of sections. List of sections.
Technical data: We record information such as the type of device, operating system and the date and time of access. We may use technologies such as local device storage or cookies to improve user experience.
Geolocation information: In order to facilitate the collection process, we collect geolocation data when you use our application. This type of data is only used when the delivery process (drop off) or collection (pick up) begins until the trip is completed or, failing that, until the process is canceled by the user. Safe Pick Up does not store data related to the positioning of users (longitude/latitude or trajectory) in order to protect personal information.
2. Use of information
Provide the service: We use your information to process your registration and authenticate you. Safe Pick Up only shares the information registered with the educational center associated with your account to provide a quality service with the highest security standards.
The information collected is used to calculate the distances and times related to the pick up. We store the positioning or location of the Educational Centers to guarantee the correct estimation of time and distance during the user's journey with the aim of ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the collection or delivery, providing a safe and reliable service for all those involved.
Communication: We will send you emails or notifications related to the service, updates and announcements.
Improvements: We analyze data to understand how you use Safe Pick Up and improve your experience.
3. Sharing of information
Under no circumstances do we sell, rent or disclose personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of our users' information, protecting it against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or destruction.
With consent: We can share your information with third parties only if you give us express consent.
To comply with the law: The personal data collected is treated confidentially and is not shared with third parties. We may only disclose your information in compliance with our legal obligations and in response to a court order or any request made by an authority authorized by law for these purposes.

Regulatory compliance: Safe Pick Up is committed to complying with Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data and Law No. 53-07 on High-Tech Crimes and Crimes, including its provisions on the protection of privacy and data security.
Commercial communications: In accordance with Law 310-14, which regulates the sending of unsolicited commercial emails (spam). of the Dominican Republic, we will ask for your consent before sending you commercial communications.
